Are the backups protected from unauthorized access and tampering? How are impact stack backups protected?

There are two types of backups and they are protected in a different way.

Backups 1. are secured in the same way all our servers are secured and they are stored with our hosting provider.
Backups 2. are stored in our office space in Vienna.
